WLI Reservation Rewards
Got my bank account number and charged me membership fees ripoff

So, I am balancing my checkbook and I come across this charge for $9 for VISA-WLI*reservationrew8007327031 on 12/12/05. Now I know that neither me or my husband has done this because our finances are pretty tight on top of Christmas. So I go to yahoo search and find out about this fraud.

Now I am thinking, where have I used my card on the internet. This is my BANK CARD! To my bank account! Not a credit card. They have my account information. I call the bank and they say that I need to find out who this is because I need to know how they got my info.

I called 1-800-732-7031 and spoke with a lady named Millie. She quickly stated that, if I wanted, my membership could be cancelled and no further charges made to my account. She also stated that they got my info from movietickets.com (which I thought was the best thing ever invented until now) when I clicked on a thing for $10 off my next movie ticket purchase (Which I thought was a promotion for buying my tickes online).

OK, so now my "membership" is cancelled. What about the $9 already charged? She told me that she would refund the money, but my "memberdhip" would end today. OK, I didn't even know I had a membership so cancel it.

At least it hopefully will be refunded (10-14 business days) and my card no longer charged. I've always heard of people getting ripped off online, but I thought I was safe using a well known site. Guess not. This is not right and they should not be able to get away with doing this.

Always check your accounts. I will now be checking mine every night.
