I was home sick, and I mean sick, or this would never have happened. But I received a call from Star communications, offering me this deal for $4.95 which included a $500 shopping card and a Family Fun Pack for movies. And if I excepted the deal I would recieve a package in the mail and ten days AFTER I received the package, if my family enjoyed it, then I would be charged $119.90 - for the half price tv. I said ok and gave them my information (this is where my being sick comes in because I NEVER give out my account information).

Anyway, 4 days later $4.95 was taken out of my account TWICE and in addition the $119.90 was also taken out. When I called and demanded my money back they said they would send me a check in 4-6 weeks. When I explained that was my rent money and where they going to pay my late fees, they said it was not their policy to pay any fees. I asked to speak to the head person and they refused to give me his/her name but did give me their address. I was so furious, I hung up before I said something I would regret later. When I contacted my bank, I was told to close my account and reopen another one because this company would come back and charge my account for my fees in about 30 days.
