Some of the worst issue resolution I have experienced. - "I feel good" carpet line

I had got my entire upstairs done with Empire carpet. I thought it was a little pricy but went with it anyway. The carpet itself was fine, for a year%u2026 Then, I noticed a seam became exposed; I didn%u2019t think anything of it at first because I only noticed it when I was vacuuming or something. Then, it got worse, and I noticed another seam 2 feet away open up. I thought %u201Cwhy would a carpet installer put two seams two feet apart in the HIGHEST traffic area in the house? %u201D So, I called customer service to see if I can get someone to take a look at it. I was informed that my installation warranty had JUST expired (of course). To her credit, the customer service rep got an inspector to check it out anyway which was nice.

Now, the bad part. After the inspector came to my house and dug his fingers into the seams making it significantly worse and repeating to me that this needs to be fixed; I had to wait 3 weeks for a response. Ok, no problem. Even that was ok because I was confident with the inspectors recommendation it would get fixed. Not so fast. The letter I got said %u201CIn our opinion, your carpet meets industry standards and is free of all manufacturing and installation defects.%u201D You have got to be kidding me. They just don%u2019t want to spend the few hundred bucks to come out and fix it.

My conclusion, I am a reasonable man, but this is unreasonable. This has been the straw that broke the camels back. I am so pissed off about getting the cold shoulder from these guys that I am going to make as much noise about my experience as possible. Someone at corporate needs to contact me and get this resolved immediately before I sit outside my local empire store with a giant sign with pictures of my carpet and handing out flyers to everyone who walks in the store about how these guys are crap. I will make this my personal crusade to get this carpet fixed. I have no problem calling customer service EVERY DAY until this is fixed. I am tired of being taken advantage of; it%u2019s time to stand up.
