Agressive sales

Had a sales rep stop by 2/2 to give me an estimate for wood flooring. Showed me diff styles wood/laminate. Measured area I requested it was 797 square feet. He keep telling me would get it under $10/sf but had to call 2 diff managers to see what deal they could give me. Never had a sales person have to clear an estimate for any remodeling I have done in my home before. He was basically selling me to his boss of what a good person I am and the deal they should give me. Needless to say I was quoted $13000 for laminate and $11000 for wood flooring. He was putting the pressure on for me to make a decision which I told him I wasn't ready @ this time. Upon that he crinkled up the estimate and took it with him and left. Even if they came back and gave me a deal of a lifetime I would say no just because of the high pressure sales tactics and the odd calling the boss move..
