Loan modification

We have been trying to go through a "loan modification" with Wells Fargo for at least 3-4 months now. They send us paperwork to fill out and we sent it back. We never hear anything so we call to check status and they say that they never received the paperwork. This has happened 3 times. This paperwork is Fed-Exed back to them in an cardboard envelope so I dont understand how after sending it 3 times they NEVER receive it. To put the icing on the cake, I called them on January 19 to inform them that on February 1 we would be able to get the loan current and pay everything. Well, they sent us to foreclosure on January 24. Why would they do that if they were a good company that actually tried to help their customers. So, now instead of being able to get our loan current we have to pay lawyer fees. This is nothing that is new from what I am reading on this site. Somebody should really do something about this because it is extremely unfair to be taken advantage of when your down and that is exactly what they are doing. The problem is, they are so big now that nobody can do anything except for the goverment and lets face it, thats not going to happen.
