Quility issues

Real Estate

We bought our Palm Harbor home right at a year ago. Since we moved in we have had leaky windows, our sliding glass door screen has fell off track. Our steps are loose and squeaky, our pourch deck was not sealed so the wood is cracked and spliting. We have had several cabinent doors fall off hinges and all. The reason the doors have fallen off is due to the fact that they were attached with 1.5 sheet metal screws not even wood screws. We also have had one door knob just stop working altogether. Like i said we have been in the home for one year and the carpet is already flat in the walk area's no matter what you do vaccum, shampoo they are just worn out. We tried to install a child lock on the front door when there was nothing behind the trim board to screw to i pulled the trim back and there is a gap between the door jam and the jack stud of the wall about 3/4 of an inch. Also our front door had a crack in it that they refused to fix because they said it was a steel door so when i took the door to a door sho to be fixed they cut it out and put an insert in that costed me $300 and sure enough it was a fiburglass door. I am just very displeased with the quality of material and and the workmanship just does not seem up to par for a new home. I am paying on this home for 30 years i am very concerned on what shape it will be in say even 10 years down the road.
