Auction planned before guaranteed home sale closes

After two years of trying to resolve our mortgage issues with CitiMortgage, and after believing all their lies. We have a guaranteed purchase offer on our home due to close May 15th, and Citimortgage informed our lawyer today that they will not wait until then, they are going to auction our house in early April. So much for wanting to help.
