This is a matter of a landlord who has been unfair since I moved into his unit. I left in October. Was suppose to get my deposit back. I admit whem I gave notice I told hiim to take $325.00 out of the security deposit. Well, he did, along with other monies for miinor repairs to a unit that was basically needing a lot of repair. Well I stayed in the unit 5 years, in good standing. Was an Elected official in the City for 6 years. When I took him to court for the remainder of my balance, and the judge awarded me the judgement. He now sya's he may not pay, and will get a lawyer to fight it. It's only $432.00 that he owes me. I want people to know that on top of being an Insurance Agent, he suppose to use good Ethics practice, but he does not. I too am an Insurance Agent and I would not treat people that way he's treated his tenants in the past. I'm a single mother struggleing and want my money because I need it. I want poeple to know what a terrible person this man is, and people should rent from Monticello Properties
