Did not honor rebate

We purcased two wardrobe storage units that offered a $10.00 rebate. As of this date we have not received anything for the two units we purchased. Called the company, got a voice mail that said the items purchased will be given the rebate if they were purchased before october. We purchased these long before october and from the look of things, we will never get reimbursed. What can be done to get them to give us what they advertised?
