Antequated debt collection practices

Had an NSF check (my mistake—wrong checkbook) and did not receive any written or electronic notice of said debt so I could see this for myself nto get it cleard up asap. I work out of town—owner comes to my home and threatens my arrest to my spouse (while I'm not there) in front of my children. I paid the debt in cash in person at their office (including bank fees) but "company" is currently trying to charge me a finance charge for the debt that had been paid for in cash. I have filed a complaint with the appropriate govt agencies concerning their debt notification and collection practices. I had to go and get a copy of my renewal contract in person at their office, at which time they slapped the surprise gouge fee on me. I am refusing to pay that fee as it is not coming from a third party, and was not notified of it until I got to their office. Since I am basically stuck with them for 9 more months, I tried to get them to set the dates for the termite imspections for the remiaining quarterly visits, but owner did not want to accommodate that—he said he could come out when I wasn't home—do you think for one second that I want that to happen? I have NO TRUST for this company or their business practices, and have had to get a reputable company to go behind them and make sure they are doing their job. BUYER BEWARE—may just be safer with the termites.
