After much warning from other ADT customers, I still chose to give ADT a chance to prove otherwise. I had my new system installed in October. I have serious health problems and am totally permanently disabled with a brain aneurysm as well. I also have an active CPO on my ex-husband for threats on my life. BUT, my ADT security system would cause my landline to fail and go out which left me without a phone to call for help from (cells don't work where I live) and it would take them up to one week to schedule each appt. This happened 6 times! They would always say, "We're sorry for the inconvenience". I said, "It's my life it's not an inconvenience and since when is installing someone else's new system more important than my life?"
Finally, they kept showing up and kept trying to repair the panel and wiring system. When I bought the 3 yrs system the local dealer told me it comes with the windows and 2-3 doors. Because of having been vandalized already I only have one door but told them I would be putting in a patio door in the Spring. Well, Spring came and I just put it in and called for the sensor. Corporate told me my contract was sold to them after my first 3 months and now I must pay for the sensor including the visit... Now what was promised FREE is now over $180.00... I live on total disability... Lets see... Pay electric and buy food for one month or get the sensor... What do you think?
Adt is terrible do not buy it!!!
