Last year, I finally convinced my husband that our old carpeting had to go. He insisted that we had to check out Home Depot first (of course he THOUGHT we would save money by going that route). Not only could we not find anyone in the store to assist us, but the entire flooring area was a mess and the quality and prices of their products were horrible! My husband KNOWS this because he used to lay wood flooring for a living!
I called Bay Carpet and spoke with Karl Lifavi, the manager. After asking what type of floors we were interested in, he came to OUR HOME with many beautiful samples of carpeting, linoleum and solid wood flooring. We chose linoleum for our foyer, GORGEOUS light cherry wood flooring for our living room and dining room and high-traffic commercial carpeting for our stairs and hallway. NEVER in my wildest dreams would I have expected such fantastic service! (I am being very honest when I say this). Karl was really nice and very knowledgeable. Our installation was scheduled for 2 days later (I admit I never thought it could happen so fast). I and my husband watched as Carlos (our installer) meticulously removed layer upon layer of disgusting old carpeting, padding and even the SUBFLOOR!
He and his wonderful crew then expertly installed our beautiful new flooring. My husband - who used to install wood floors) was amazed at how professional they were down to the very last details of installing the moldings and saddles. PLUS, they were in and out in two days (just as they promised, even though I was skeptical that they could do it). Pure perfection!
I couldn't believe the transformation that took place in my living and dining rooms! The new floors made my entire home look new again and my family and friends all wanted to know where I got those beautiful floors and they were astonished at the low price I paid for them. Since then, at least two of my friends whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Sandy have used Bay Carpet and were absolutely thrilled with the caring installation crews, quality flooring and great prices they received from Bay Carpet.
I know that this story sounds too good to be true but if you knew me personally, you would know that I RARELY endorse anyone or their business unless I have PERSONALLY experienced excellence from them.in this case excellence, perfection and great prices were exactly what I received! I HIGHLY recommend Bay Carpet to anyone!
