Never help those who truly need assistance! Rip-off!

I have had no income from January. I had to quit my job that I have had for years due to increasingly bad arthritis in my spine. I am a divorced mother of two teens. I receive very little child support due to my ex-husband had by pass surgery several years ago after suffering a heart attack that damaged 80 percent of his heart. I have adult A.D.D., meniere's desease, arthritis, am legally blind, hypertensive, and take medication for panic attacks and depression, and have an under active thyroid.

I have worked many, many years hard physical labor jobs, raised two daughters and put them through college, and I still have two teens at home. When I quit my job, it was due to my arthritis and took my refund check to get my family a nice rental house in Speedway. I paid months ahead of time. I honostly thought that I would be able to find a job where I did not have to stand so long before the next month's rent was due. I haven't. It is not because I am lazy or refuse to start at the bottom.

The trustee office had no sympathy for my situation and told me there was nothing they could do, that my situation was not an emergency.

I think that getting evicted is a big emergency. I had all this information documented from the doctor's office and trying to get on disability. It just would have been nice if they would have helped me out this month. I will start receiving tanf in may (I will be getting enough from a two month period that I will be able to pay may's rent.) Hopefully, I will find employment. I feel they should have helped me in my situation. It is not fun having to ask for help, and degrading when they think you are too lazy to work even though I proved to them all of my disabilities.

What does someone have to do to deserve help from agencies now?
