Officer John Rendo of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department is a power hungry criminal that should not be allowed to have a badge. Officer John Rendo was called to a disturbance in my neighborhood; being that I was not involved in the matter except the fact that I witness everything from the beginning. When Officer Rendo came on the scene he looked around and took statement from someone that was not even there for the entire event than without allowing anyone else to speak he assumed he knew exactly what happened. Even when I attempted to inform him of what I saw, he yelled at me and told me to mind my own business unless I wanted to be arrested right now. I clearly heard him said he is the boss and he represents god on this scene and people are only allowed to talk if he permits or else he will make sure someone spend a night or two behind bars. I just can not believe this is the type of officer that the Fort Lauderdale Police department hires with all the taxes that I pay in this county.
