Marianne Virgili President-CEO Glenwood Springs Chamber Commerce Ripping Off Member and Taxpayer dollars to build 1.8 mil home, take lavish trips and fuel a lifestyle she can't afford!

Noticed that finally citizens of Glenwood Springs, Colorado are getting down to a level of talk that somebody like Virgili can understand in these complaints.

We have been following the clean blog of whistle blowers at www.safeplacetowhistleblowonnonprofits. Blogspot.com and have just been shaking our heads that Marianne Virgili is still even walking the streets in our town. This woman has been suspected, three previous times over the course of at least 12 to 15 years of misuse of Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association funds. Employees, contractors have all spoken up. City went in with police and pulled all her computers and records back in but were only able to focus on tax revenues. Oh, they found discrepacies alright, but she got nothing more than a slap on the wrist. The real issue is the credit card fraud. Finally going so far as to start using Chamber credit for buying her decor for her brand new 1.8 million dollar home in Aspen Glen. A home that she spent months not paying the workers on and finally only paying them when forced to by public outcry.

This time, the public is not going to let this woman slide. My family and I are not going to let this woman slide. She has hounded, smeared, stalked on the internet to their other jobs in other states, every employee that has tried to speak up. She has gone so far over the top in her harrassment and stalking of a local company that moved heaven and earth to first not be forced to turn in her credit card fraud in their store last fall, that she broke the law in impersonating them and stalking their clients and business associates.

She drips with ego when you meet her and word has it on this latest scandal of hers that she really truly believes she is on some kind of "mission" from God (can you believe that?) to "clean up Glenwood Springs" and "stay where she is "needed" the most"... Because "nobody can run this town like (she) can".

Spare us, please! The public has wanted new blood at the helm of the Chamber for years. Maybe now, the public can also be aware that for decades they have had an embezzler, a liar and a con artist sitting at that helm. They need a lot more than just new blood at the Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce, they need police protection.

The desperation of Marianne Virgili in trying to protect and cover up her trail while at the same time still thrusting herself into her beloved public spotlight faking her way through newspaper articles like the outrageous "Mission To China" signup the other day, is so disgusting and sickening it makes us all gag.

You bet, Marianne — go to China. Stay there. If you do come back, trust us&we don't want your "statues" that are your "free' prize for going. There has not been one "free" thing about you, in all the decades you have been in Glenwood Springs, Colorado as far as us taxpayers are concerned.
