Wilkesboro North Carolina Wilkes County DSS Discriminates Yet Again, Taking Advantage Of Poor People!

Wilkes County DSS is once again, trying to ruin the lives of innocent, hard working people! They took my husband to court to raise his child support. They screwed him in court, because he was unable to attend the hearing. He lives 18 hours away, they did NOT provide him with timely notice, if he could appear and scoffed at his reasons why he didn't attend. His case worker, Kay Sebastian had been out sick for a long time throughout the duration of this issue. He was in constant contact with the Child Support Enforcement supervisor, Susanne Hincher. She made herself available to my husband until the day of the hearing and there after, she did not return emails or phone calls anymore. She claims she did not get a response to her last email sent, and when he offered to fax the numerous replies HE sent and SHE received, she shut her mouth quick! He had requested to file a Motion To Deviate because he was ordered to provide medical insurance and to be frank, that will NOT happen. Her story first, was that he could file the motion by providing testimony and sending documents. He spent hours on a wild goose chase to do so. Then her story once again changed and she said he had to once again, appear in person! We live in MAINE. He would lose his job if he took the time off to go down there to deal with this and knowing how the court system is down there, they probably wouldn't even hear the case and all that time and money would be wasted. He would be out at least 900 dollars for that trip, driving 18 hours alone. That would be a week right there! They REFUSE to help him file this motion, the clerk of court said that DSS handles it and he HAS to go through them. How can he when they will not give him timely advice and honest advice. Susanne Hincher snidely remarked in our last conversation that she would "Run it by Paul Freeman" but she highly doubted anything would come from it. He is NOT able to afford to come down there, he is unable to afford a lawyer. He is unable to take the time off necessary to deal with this crap. She said if he had it in writing he would lose his job, that "may" help! He is not able to gain any information as to what figures were used to configure his new obligation. He KNOWS FOR A FACT, that Brenda Church, his ex mother in law, and the woman who has custody of his children, is committing FRAUD with her little Workfirst scheme. She is REQUIRED to provide information of BOTH parents to pay support. She REFUSES to go after her daughter, Anita Church for ANY money, so DSS says, oh well, and goes after my husband only! Anita and Brenda Church are too sorry to do anything to get off Workfirst and all Brenda does is look at my husband and see dollar signs. This can all be proven because when the original order was filed, she stated a low amount of support so my husband would NOT protest the fact Anita was NOT paying anything! This is sickening because once again Wilkes County DSS IS NOT APPLYING THE LAWS AND RULES EVENLY! They are NOT going after Brenda Church or Anita Church. They are NOT willing to work with my husband to have his case considered because he is too financially unable to pay for all this nonsense!
