Takes homeowners money to process claims-steals their money by holding insurance checks-rip - off! Tennessee

The vanderbilt Mortgage company held onto our insurance check for over 10 days and did not even call us to say why they did not return our money. The supervisor indicated that they had just recieved the check that day; BS. Then she indicated that the mortgage company had to send the check back for signature. When on the first check it was not required. When ask, other then us calling back, why they did not let us know; they had no answer. The mortgage company collected interest on our money; until we called and complained. Now 3 weeks later the cost to our contracter will be more because of cost increases. This mortgage company needs to be fined or give people all the interest they get by playing games with homeowners money
