Ripped off Debt Free League

Tikee Pittman, also known as TK and TK Pittman posed as a lead vendor to sell our debt settlement firm debt leads. He stated that our Financial Advisors would be shortly receiving leads from his call center in the form of a live call transfer. The leads would be comng from consumers who experienced a financial hardship and were a potential bankruptcy filer with unsecured debt (such as credit card and collection accounts) in excess of $15,000.

In early September we agreed to pay him via Paypal a $875 deposit in exchange for (25) debt settlement live transfer leads at a cost of $35 per lead. But we only received (8) live transfers leads, and all were "unqualified." All had debt amounts under $15,000 and none were bankruptcy risks, or consumers with dire financial hardships.

On 09/23/08, we requested a cancelleation refund in the amount of $595 for the remaining (17) leads that we never received. Although a very fair refund request, we never received any reply from Mr. Pittman despite our continuous emails and phone calls seeking the status of our refund. Ultimately, we learned that his phone line was disconnected.

On 12/01/08, Mr. Pittman carbon copied our company, perhaps unintentionally, on an email to another debt settlement company.in the email, he apologized for "having provided a bad service" and requested a payment plan in order to repay his debt to them. Being that we also receivd this message, we replied to his email and carbon copied the debt settlement company.in our reply, we offered him the opportunity to reedem himself and prove he wasn't a crook by paying us the refund he owed. We also sated would accept a payment plan. However, to this date, Mr. Pittman never responded.

On 12/12/08, we received an email from the other debt settlement company stating that they had filed a complaint against Tikee ("TK") Pittman with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They also suggested that we do the same. We intend to vigorously report Mr. Pittman's transgressions, especially after just learning of yet a THIRD debt settlement company that filed a complaint complaint against Mr. Pittman for a similar yet greater crime that had also included fraud.

In light of the circumstances, fearing that a criminally-minded con artist ripped us off, we don't believe we will ever get our money back. Nonetheless, we're alerting others about his ongoing criminal activities as we'd hate for him to continue ripping off ethical, hard-working debt elimination services, such as our company.
