Radiology Center Of Fair Lawn
Claims of "high quality" service are a joke!

I needed an MRI and my doctor insisted that I go to Radiology Center of Fair Lawn for the test. I usually go to a facility in Waldwick which is closer to where I live but my doctor claimed that Radiology Center of Fair Lawn is top notch with great service and that I should go there for my MRI. When I called to schedule my appointment I should have known that I was making a mistake. I was on hold for at least 5 minutes and then another girl picked up the phone and put me on hold for another 2-3 minutes. When I finally got to talk to someone to schedule my appointment the girl asked me numerous questions and there seemed to be a lot of noise in the background and she couldn't hear me so I had to repeat myself many times. When I arrived for my MRI the next day the girl at the desk was somewhat rude, gave me some forms to fill out and told me to take a seat. I waited for 30-35 minutes before someone came to get me for my test. Then they proceeded to take me outside to a trailer to have my test done. They claimed that they were getting new equipment and that the MRI machine in the trailer was just as good. It's a good thing that I'm not claustrophobic because there wasn't much room in there. I get on the table and they start my test or at least I thought they started my test! Ten minutes later a guy comes in and tells me that the machine isn't working and I have to go back out to the waiting room which is inside the building while they get the machine running. After another 30 minutes of waiting I was told that I would have to reschedule my MRI because the machine was down and they couldn't get it to work.

Needless to say I did not reschedule my MRI at the Radiology Center of Fair Lawn. I felt the staff to be unprofessional, the waiting time to be too long and their equipment unreliable. I would not recommend this facility at all!
