Consumer complaints! This Woman is a Fraud Pretending to Help Stray Animals

This woman, Cheri, claimed to have a red somali cat to adopt, sent me pictures, confirmed that the cat was available one hour before I went to her house, and wanted a $200 cash-only "adoption fee", to which I agreed.

When I arrived at her house, she presented me with a very skittish, gray, common house cat, claiming that it was the red somali that she had pictured on her web site. When I pointed out that the cat was neither red nor a somali, she became belligerent, claiming that I must be wrong because the house cat was the only "somali" she had. When I reminded her of the pictures of the red cat, she asked me to leave.

This is one weird woman, who, apparently, tries to sell pets that she claims are abandoned or strays, and lies about them in order to make the sale. If you want a pet, contact the Humane Society or a reputable breeder, not AJ's Best Friends.
