Loft Owners Who Offer Affordable Housing
I was turned down because my income was too low Los Angeles County

Many of these new lofts in the los angeles area offer affordable or discounted housing to members of the community who do not make huge amounts of money. Affordable for who? Many of us like myself do not make $25,000 a year. These places say they will take people on ssi-if they have other income to meet their guidlines. People on ssi usually don't have extra money like that. Alot of us have health issues and do not belong in programs with the low functioning crowd, drug addicts, etc. But we are there because we don't know where else to go. Iam one of these people-Iam very high functioning, recieve some ssi due to health problems, work part time, go to school to better myself so I can get ahead. I am a good tenant and always pay my rent, don't cause trouble, take care of my pets, not crazy, etc. I am a good moral person who deserves a place to live that is affordable, safe, and in a better area and not in a place where your treated like your stupid. There is a big homeless problem and something has to be done for the poor. Not everyone wants section 8 or conventional housing, etc. Just because someof us are poor, why can't we live nicely and comfortably.
