Democratic Senator lied to us about supporting immmigration bill so that they can use if for political advantge

The democratic senate is at it again. They went on TV Thursday and said that they were gouing to work with the Republicans and hammer out an amended resolution to immigration. When the republicans tried to enter amendments on the Senate Floor they then blocked them all by objecting.in other words take this hammered out plan which has a lot of loopholes or else.

This isn't the first time. When they threatened to stop work in the Senate over the judicial nominations this is exactly how they would go about it. Harry Reis and Ted Kennedy stood in fron of those microphones at the news conference and flat out lied to the american people. The republicans wanted to put amendments out there. What the Democrats don't want you to know is that there is a tremendous cost to this plan but they don't want the public to be aware of it. The cost was much more than either orf the other 2 plans that were out there for consideration.

Why didn't the senate break out into a seperate bill Border Security since tha main point of contention is what to do with the workers that are already here? There is no point in fighting about this since the flow is still coming in. All this delay is going to do is make the problem worse.

I think all of the senators that are voting against these bills because they obviously don't care about National Security by leaving the borders open. Couldn't they have come up with emergencty legislation to get the borders closed and stop the flow. This should have become abundantly clear when the test to see if someone could sneak nuclear material was successful.

Thank you Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy for not making an attempt to make me and my fellow citizens safe while you are taking your 2 week vacation. I hope you are all voted out next election and we get someone in there with the brains to do something.
