Voicemail-2 Days Late

I have been with MetroPCS for over 2 years now. The prices are good and air service was pretty good. One problem. Receiving calls lately but no voicemails left, so I figure they will call back later. Two days later, voicemail for the earlier call shows up. I am unemployed and over 50 and in one case, it caused me not to get a job. People don't believe you when you say, "I didn't get your voicemail until 2 days later" so I didn't know. Sounds pretty lame until I asked several people, including my son who has similar problems, in another city. I am seriously looking into another company. I guess you get what you pay for!
