It seems like our cell phone services should be able to protect us from these types of scams. The phone companies are the ones that make money off of these things. Like caller ID. You have to pay extra for caller ID, the scamers pay extra to have their ID listed as unknown or blocked and we then have to pay extra again to be able to unblock the block. What a racket.
