Takes Advantage Of Employees Desperation ripoff

I work for west as well. I am a third time employee, which is not at all unusual for the Erie site, and probably all west sites.

Adam's comments are extremely well-founded and point out one thing. While west takes advantage of its employees, we are known to let them because we get away with things as well. Most of us are desperate for decent paying jobs.

College students, also people with degrees, single parents, the disabled, and people who need non physically intensive jobs are all in danger. No one can get a job, and west will hire about anyone.

Than they treat you like high school students. Our supervisors are required to make us ask for permission to go to the bathroom...

You have as much chance of having an 18 year old line supervisor as you have of sitting next to a 40 year old college educated individual on the phones.

But it's still enticing to make two dollars over minimum wage to sit and answer the phone for 30 hours a week. (Or 60...) Because you can work 16 hours a day seven days a week, but you cannot get a schecule that has forty hours on it. (Seems like a nice way to keep healthcare costs down in the company, doesn't it?)

However, I am afraid to identify myself, because I am current employee who desparately needs her job.
