I recently detailed some surprisingly poor check-in service at the United O'Hare check-in desk (which included both extraordinary rudeness and delays so severe that we were in danger of missing our international flight, I simply received a single 10% coupon for a future flight. As a Mileage Plus member, I am disappointed in this resolution and would have preferred a partial refund for trouble caused on my purchased flight.
