My bank card was rejected while I was trying to get gas. I knew I had money so I checked my online account info and I was overdrafted. I saw a check voucher for $29.95 and an over draft fee of $38.50. I read the check information and called the number getting a disconnected message first. I called my bank and froze the account because my payday is direct deposited. I had to close the account and open another one. I called the number back and got a lady claiming I would receive a full refund including the overdraft. I called back later and got a barely English speaking lady who said it was an internet subscription company and that if I contacted my bank they wouldnt work with me but if I didnt contact them a refund would be issued right away. I filed a fraudulent activity report with my bank. They will investigate and contact proper authorities. I have now closed three accounts and started over from scratch.
