I fell prey but didn't send any money, I answered a Craigslist ad for a home that is in Lake Mary, FL. The email address is bindaroland@yahoo.com. They told me the same story, transferred to Alabama due to work, I did a property appraisers check on the house it says the owners address is NY I questioned this and they said they relocated to Alabama due to work, then they sent me a rental application that I did fill out and sent. But it didn't ask for my SS# just Drivers license, address, friend reference phone# and address and that was it. Then I got an email that I was approved and asked me to send the money western union to his sister in NC. This is what tipped me off that this is a scam so I decided to google the # and found all of these complaints should have known it was go good to be true.
