Navigation System updates

I ordered an update to my navigation system in my car from NAVTEG which I was told by my dealer that they sell all updates for Chrysler. I installed the update according to directions and later found out that I could not get addresses to come up so I went to my dealership and they tried with the same results. So they called NAVTEG and was told that I had the latested update which the dealership found out it was made in 2009 and was out on the market in March. I again called Chrysler and NAGTEG about the update and Chrysler told me that NAVTEG was a 3rd party and was responsivle for all updates so I again Called NAGTEG and was told that was the latested update available. It cost me $130.00 fior the disk that is not worth anything. My question is how do I update my navigation system.
