I canceled my dial-up Netzero membership in 2007 after having endless problems getting a good connection. I went to PeoplePc and had them for 5 years before finally being able to get hi-speed. At the end of October I saw on my bank statement a charge from Netzero for $12.94. I looked at September and saw it again. Month after month; year after year. For 5 years I was being charged! I canceled! When I contacted Netzero they told me that while I had canceled I had not given a reason WHY I wanted to cancel and therefore my membership had not been terminated. They first offered me $19.19, then $25, then $51, then $151. I have rejected all amounts as I want at least half of what they stole from me. They are going to the "higher ups" to try and "resolve" my problem. It was my fault for not noticing the withdrawals, but it is their fault for not cancelling because I didn't give a reason.
