Return policy

My husband has purchased some work pants. He did not like the fit and went to the store and purchased a different pair. Those did not fit so he went back to the store and purchased again another pair with a different style, he didn't like those either. He went online to find the correct style he was looking for and ordered them. I saw the three pairs in his truck and asked why he didn't return any of them? He said, "I returned something there one other time and they were horrible to deal with when I went to return items in the past. I laughed and decided to take the three pants back myself. The customer service agent scrutinized the pants, complained about the tags being torn off, took two of the receipts that I had and said one of the receipts didn't match either of the two pair that I had so she couldn't accept them, I didn't happen to have his credit card so she automatically said i have to give you instore credit for the lowest amount that we have sold these for etc... And was so bitter and rude. I said " You act like I came in here and stole these pants, my husband didn't return these because he said he feels so intimidated by your return policy. I ripped her good!!! Other stores have an auomatic credit card refund to the credit card that it was charged from, Mills fleet farm in Mason City, Iowa does not. If this behavior doesn't change I will refuse to purchase anything else from Mills Fleet Farm. FYI: We normally purchase a great deal throughout the year and also purchase $500 worth of gift certificates yearly for our employees. Not any more!!! I want an apology and an instant change to your policy or I will advetise for you in the worst wayl!!!
