Opened an account in april and have paid for six months have not recieived any magazines have stopped paying and they call everyday for the money but no resolution for not getting magazines

On April third i got a call from magazine publishers service about signing up to receive magazines for the low price of 1155 per month i agreed but when they went to record it they changed the price to 57.50 per month for tewelve months. I tried to cancell but they already charged my credit card and said i could not cancell on the phone i woul have to write a letter. So i did and I sent it in and they said they didnt get it it was attached to the bill and money order they sent me they got that no problem.

On June 12 I phoned them to tell them that I had not recieved my magazines. They told me it would take up to 16 weeks as they were coming from the states. At the end of July i called back it was now 17 weeks and still no magazines they then told me i would recieve them by the last week of August and no later than the first week of September which would now bring it to 22 weeks.

During this time i kept paying my bill when it came in the last payment i sent was September third. I did not recieve a bill for October and did not send a payment. It was not long before they started calling for there money and i told them no bill no money and that i still had not recieved my magazines. Again they said they will look into it but never heard back from them about my magazines but do hear from then on a daily basis for the money.

On October 9 i wrote them a letter telling them i was not happy with there company and did not want to do business with them anymore and that I want the money I have payed them returned to me. I sent two copies this time one to the accounting department and one to the complaints department i could not send it registered as it was a box number.

They have not made any comment on my letter but continue to phone daily about the overdue account. I did mention the letter in one of the conversations and was told that i had to pay them because they have already payed the third party and i told them that was not my problem and again they said they will look into why i havent got my magazines yet. I told them not to bother sending them as i dont want them and will send them back. They dont seem to hear anything i say to them and continue to phone me
