US visa with wrong birthdate cost 44 dollars not 14

I applied for an American visa, and foolishly I went to the PayPal site. It cost 44 dollars, and when I received the visa, my date of birth was incorrect. In spite of following their website, they printed my birth date as month, date, year. I went to the U.S. government site, where the cost was 14 dollars.
Be warned, do not use the PayPal site; it is a rip-off. It would be nice to arrive in the USA and be denied entry because your visa date does not correspond with your passport date of birth. Be warned, they are ripping people off.
