I bought headphone for my sons last Christmas and the hinge (the headphone are foldable for storage) started to get loose after few months. It did not take long before it got worse. My son used tape to keep it together but I tought this should be fix and decided to send it to the company. After 3 weeks, we sent them a request to follow up on our RMA and they told us that it was denied due to damage beyond reasonable use. I must admit that Best Buy warned me that Beats is not reliable with their warranty and they have seen lots of customer coming back with this problem. I called Beats again and talked to customer service and they told me that it was in fact really rare that Beats would repair the headphone, she said that she was sorry... I asked to talk to her supervisor and he told me that Beats is aware or that problem and they are working on a new design but unfortunatly they will not replace my son's headphone because of the politic.
