I'm a pharmacy technician at cvs, and I think cvs has really bad service. Most of the techs I work with have bad attitude problems and never like to help out when its needed. There has been many times when I was either filling prescriptions by myself or at the cash register by myself and none of my co-workers will help out when they can clearly see that it is busy. They eventually decide to help when somebody says something to them. There clearly isn't ever enough techs scheduled to work during the busy times of the day, and this upsets the customers. The company obviously doesn't care about their employees or customers. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work at cvs or purchase anything here. Employee' get scored quarterly on everything from how long they are on the phone with a customer, to how long someone is at the drive thru, and even how many cvs cards are scanned through the register. Some of the customers are also bastards, they're rude and treat the employees like crap. The price on their prescription is the copay their insurance company gives back, it's not the techs fault your prescription has a high copay. If you don't like it get a new insurance agency that doesn't suck. For you mass health people that can't afford to pay $3.65 or even $1 for their prescriptions so they have the fee waived, why the are you buying stupid stuff like candy and magazines? I agree that cvs is very unorganized, but there customers are also stupid as f*ck.
