Example: Walmart Pharmacy wouldn't do a price check - Prescription Drugs-Pharmacy

I called Walmart pharmacy to do a price comparison for 2 prescriptions that I take on a daily basis. I had a 90 day prescription with 3 refills for each. They gave me the price for a non insured person but told me I had to come to the store for a price that included my insurance benefit. I went to the store, insurance card in hand, and they told me I couldn't get the price info without them filling the prescription. When I questioned this policy the technician (a young man with dark hair, I didn%u2019t get his name) told me the price would be the same at any pharmacy. Really??? I told him that I got the information from both Rite Aid and Walgreens and that Walgreens was less expensive. I was very disappointed in the service and left without filling my prescriptions. I had my prescriptions filled at Walgreens.
