I was looking for a job and saw this company's listing on Craigslist. I called to schedule an appointment. When I got to the office, I asked someone at the front desk exactly where to go. We started chatting about the company and he warned me that they're "shady." He advised me not to waste my time. He told me that they're not legit. All they do is scam people out of $35.00 by telling them that they're going to conduct a background check after an application is filled out. However, they never run the background. They simply pocket the money. I decided to listen to the front desk clerk, and I left.
I figured that if someone at the front desk is telling me these things about the company, then they're probably true. Why would a security guard lie about this company? He has nothing to gain. I'm glad he warned me. He kept me from getting screwed out of my hard earned money.
