Hopefully I didn't get dinged, but their practise of information gathering is disgusting. They hid themselves in the banner of a reputable TV streaming site - when I clicked on the video I was about to download their site popped up asking for registration - I unknowingly registered to them, thinking I was registering to another site. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to give them my CC number.
When they email me the receipt, I noticed they were going to charge me a monthly fee, so I immediately called and cancelled. So here's hoping
