Ripoff towed my car because it did not have a sticker on it

Yesterday on my way home from work my husband called me and told me I have bad news. I asked him, what? He said you car is not where we left it. So I called the police department to report it stollen and the police department informed me that my apartment towed it. So I called the apartment and told them who I was.

I told them they towed my car. She asked if it had a sticker on it I said no. My husband had the sticker in his truck that was in the shop and my battery died in my car. I had moved it into the spot that morning and I was going to fix it when i got home from work.

Well I called the towing company they said it would be $200 to get my car out of storage. I asked them to fax over the pictures of my car with the signature from the manager autorizing them to tow my car right then because my apartment leasing office was going to close. They said they couldnt because their driver was out in the field.

By that point I was pissed off. I asked the leasing office if I could just end my lease now, she said no you would have to wait for the manager tommorrow. So now I'm going to stay there. I'm going to force my apartment to pay to get my car out and tow it back to my apartment. If they refuse to do that then I am suing the Irvine Company and Cornell Court Apartments.
