My parents bought a furnace for $4599.00 and was told that that could pay off at any time. When i tried to get a payout i was told $4291 know thaey want us to payoff the equipment and all remaining months owing for the new total of $7616.80. They have been back to repair three times.in the heat of the summer i had to call a third party repairman in and he found wires hooked up incorrectly a gas leak and a couple other things. The y repair cost $400 of our own expence. I have contacted the finance company maxium financial services and the contract terms and conditions is completely different than the one we have. Mine says you can puchace the equipment at anytime for fair market value and there copy says you have to pay for equipment and remaining months of contract. I feel this is very poor business and want out asap. Can you please give me guideance to go forward.
