My name is Michel Stylianou, I am 77 years old, I am an American Citizen and I don’t deserve to go thru the pain and humiliation that the company and It’s employs of “ NiceGuyMovers” put me thru.
I hired this company on the 24th of August for my one bedroom move from Clermont Florida to Orlando for the contracted price of $226.80
That includes 1 truck, 2 men, 2.0 hrs, $84.00 hrs $168.00
Travel time: $84.00
Coupon Discount: 10% -$25.20
Total Estimate Quote $226.80
Customer Payment/Deposit $100.00
Services included in this estimate at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE:
Disassembly and Reassembly of standard furniture.
Setting Up items where you like in new location.
Loading and unloading of the truck.
Taxes, tolls and mileage.
Time starts at your door.
None of the above was over the estimate, but before unloading the truck they asked me to pay additional $100.00, without any explanation. When I refused they hijacked my cargo and left. I called the police for stealing my property. They come back half an hour later and continue to pressure me for the extra money and this time put me on the phone with Shawnt Thompson who sign as Certified Moving Consultant. When I asked him to justify the extra $100.00 he start yelling at me calling me names and threatening me. I hang up on him and I asked the two drivers to leave. When they come back they agreed for the balance of $126.80 and make them sign a note that they will unload the truck. I could never imagine what will follow. After got the money they dumped everything on my small living room and on the street. Stealing my money, stealing my dignity and they doing this with a license from the government and the state. Who is protecting US, the elderly, the weak and the sick? Please revoke their license, it’s the only way to protect the next victim, believe me they’ll do it again and again. This industries is notorious scams, please stop them, over 90% of them are bad people, there are all over the internet.
I would like to mention officer Kurt Ludwig and his partner for helping me move some things around and assembling my bed. I was so much in paying at that time, I have an ostomy and do not suppose to lift more than ten pounds.
The company “Nice Guy Movers” did not complete the move, I want my money back and I want $5,000.00 more for pain (real, physical pain) and suffering.
