I was billed for a extra phone line for six months. When I realized that this was the reason my bill was so high, Verizon agreed to credit me $140 of the $480 I was overcharged. If I want to leave Verizon a early termination fee would be charged. In my conversation with Verizon it was evident that this is a common occurrence. Personal were well versed in dealing with this matter. How many customers have been taken advantage of in this way.
