During one of the 4 busiest weeks of the year for photo processing at Target, all photo processing machines were broken and the entire Department was closed. Customer Services claimed that the machines had been broken for 24 hrs and did not know if/when they would be fixed.
1. Why does Target choose not to have 1h or 2hr onsite maintenance of its photo processing machines?

2. Is the photo processing Department a loss leader or is it not an important sales Department for the store?

3. It is clear that Customer Service is not a priority and also that it is not important to inform Customer Service associates whether or not the photo processing machinery would be fixed and when.
4. I tried unsuccessfully submitting complaints at www.target.com 8X tonight, but Target's web site (conveniently for Target) refused to process the "Contact Us" form.
5. I request specific responses to these questions and comments.
