Hampton Inn of Sedoan, AZ
Canceled room without notifing me

Made a reservation with this hotel on 2-11, paid 187.48 for one night. Reservation was made for September 1. Went up to Sedona from Peoria, AZ and it was pouring down rain, enough and hard enough I almost pulled to the side of the road. Why we was going up was for a wedding. With all the BS the front desk was spitting out we had no time to change and get to the wedding on time. The front desk says to me you are not in the system, I said what are you saying I made this back in February. He laughed and said someone called you. I said no one called. He laughed and said they over booked we had no room. So he got the GM and she says we had no room we put you in another hotel further back down the road. I was very pissed at that point told her the least she could do is comp a room for their mess up. She says don't think so. But you can come back for a free continential breakfast. WOW! Pouring rain and this lady laughs that we have no room. This is not only the last place I write a complaint there will be more. We go back down the road to the other place and went in and I asked if I could see the paperwork work. Come to find out Hampton only paid 138 bucks. REALLY! I feel we need to be compensated for what we paid. They were the ones in the wrong and think they can laugh it off. Oh we did make it to the wedding in our scuzzy clothes. So mad at Hampton Inn of Sedona, AZ
