Angel Germain selling books to raise money for college engineering trip to restore P51 Mustang

Young woman in her twenties with long brown hair, wreaking of cigarette smoke, jittery, and overly talkative showed up claiming to be the daughter of a neighbor. Said she was home from college and her retired Marine father was forcing her to sell to neighbors to pay for her trip from the University of Miami to Washington State to be a part of an engineering program that is restoring a P51 Mustang recovered from the Baltic Sea.

As soon as I asked for contact information, so I could get back to her (since she's a neighbor, right?) she wanted to pack up and move on, because if I didn't "help her right now" it would be too late... She was headed back to Miami that night.

Total scam and utterly pathetic that she invokes the "military father" routine. Unfortunately, when I called local law enforcement, they didn't see "anything wrong"!

She is working Sanford, FL so be on guard!
