This place breaks all the NJ Dept of Labor laws when paying employees. Family member was hired to work in kitchen and was told $10 cash. Then when going there is paid $9 cash, and then told he will be on the books for $12. Never happened. No overtime. Empoyees are kept up to 13 hours a shift. He was warned that the place has a reputation of being a revolving door which is very true. Employees in poorly ventilated kitchen even during recent heat wave. Employees walk out from the job. There is a group in kitchen of non-english speaking employees who apparently hold sway over the place while the managers look the other way. My family member took off a Saturday, a real crime in the summer of course, then was terminated. OK may have deserved it but he has been unable to get paid for his last week with Brazzi probably 55 hours at least despite calling, writing, and stopping in in person. Too bad that place with very good food can get away with being thieves, plain and simple. Do they pay off state inspectors? Probably so. From what I see restaurants get away with this type of thievery freguently.
