A notice came to me with a check for $2,950.00. The check is made from Realty Fresno Trust Account. The notice is from Springleaf Financial. 1-866-895-0719. The notice states I won $50,000 from shopping at Wallmart, Home Depot, Sears or Safeway. I called the number on the notice, the ring sounded funny and a man with a heavy accent answered. He couldn't verify how I won this supposed $50K, nor could he tell me which store and what date it was that I shopped and won. He kept instructing me to "deposit the check to my account and call back tomorrow" YEA RIGHT! I told him I thought this was a scam and he said to me "then you are very stupid" and hung up. Do not deposit these checksall they want is your account info. Big scam!!!
