I bought this product at Target in Feb. I used it twice and it started smoking. I returned it to the store and was given a new one. I used it for a while and then it started leaking brown sludge from the bottom.By then it was too late to return it to the store. I thought I could make it work but after a while I got tired of cleaning the brown sludge so I shelved it until recently. I used it once again and a piece of metal came out of the bottom along with the brown sludge. I can't use it at all because it leaks all over my counter. I cannot afford another blender right now. I called customer service and was told I had to send in the whole unit and a money order for $29.99. How can they get away with this and what can I do to get this replaced or get a refund?
