Purchased a side by side refrigerator which has never worked properly. The light inside the refrigerator stays on— we have it taped down with duct tape. The fans sound like a 727 is landing in my kitchen and apparently the unit overheated causing the back panel of the freezer to melt and I lost all my food. The ice maker has not worked in months and I am told that the parts are on back order— please google house fires caused by lg refrigerators. This is a dangerous situation. I spoke with them again today and they said "Richard" the box would not be replaced however, they were aware of the problem with the light and they would fix that. Do we need someone killed by fire from this appliance to get this companys attention???
