GE Profile Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - GE Profile Refrigerator/Freeze

Purchased in August. Almost immediately the ice maker broke. Fixed under warranty, has not worked properly since, won't go 8 weeks without jamming, necessary to empty freezer. Thermostat went up, ($7 part), now fan motor ($50 part). Gaskets on refrigerator have shredded, that is the only way to describe it, they are in shreds, pieces. This is in a home where only 2 people live, and both work, so it is not like the door is getting opened and closed all day. This appliance is not dependable and is costly to fix and difficult to work on. At 3 yrs of age, I do not expect to have this much trouble. My husband and I are planning to redo our kitchen, and this refrigerator was supposed to make the transition, but frankly, I will take the loss, get rid of it and not consider another GE appliance.
